Harris Falcon family of radios delivers network-centric communications for superior command and control, real-time voice, data, full-motion HD video and cross banding for mission-critical communications in a single, integrated platform. Notably, we are the proud designer, supplier and maintainer of the 50,000 tactical radios in the Bowman tactical C4I system in service with the UK Armed Forces and are working to define and deliver the next generation system, Morpheus.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our Operations Department.

• Working closely with internal departments, such as Operations engineering and testing.
• Use of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for the test of product.
• Use electronic systems to track repairs and update correctly.
• Check Assemblies meet quality standards and seek advice from supervisor or Manufacturing Engineer as necessary.
• Work with other Cell members using lean manufacturing techniques and participate in lean production activities.
• Work to daily targets, in line with customer requirements.
• Work to defined processes and work instructions
• Assist Supervisors, undertaking any reasonable task as directed.

• Broad knowledge of component level troubleshooting.
• Understand schematics to aid in troubleshooting problems.
• Complex fault diagnosis.
