Graduate Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for software quality and problem-solving? We're looking for a Graduate Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our engineering team and help ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software for innovative engineering products.

What you'll do- Review software requirements and define test conditions
- Design, execute and maintain manual test cases
- Identify, record and track software defects through to resolution
- Analyse test results and produce clear, accurate reports
- Maintain test documentation and traceability
- Support quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle
- Work closely with software developers to improve product quality
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Alternatively, a degree in Engineering, Physics or another STEM subject with a strong interest in software quality
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies
- Understanding of Agile or Waterfall development
- Experience with test management tools such as Azure Dev Ops or Test Rail
- ISTQB Foundation certification, or a willingness to work towards it
This is an ideal role for someone at the start of their software testing career. You'll gain hands‑on experience working on real engineering projects while receiving mentoring, structured development and the opportunity to build your skills within a collaborative, high‑performing team.
The successful candidate must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance and will need to demonstrate five years' UK residency.
