Stores / Material Controller
Farnborough
£14-15 PH
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
About the Role:We are looking for a reliable Stores / Material Controller to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment on site or within a warehouse environment.
Location:
Farnborough
- Receive, check, and record incoming materials and deliveries
- Store materials safely and in an organised manner
- Issue materials and equipment to site teams as required
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory control systems
- Carry out regular stock checks and audits
- Ensure materials are stored in line with health & safety procedures
- Coordinate with suppliers, engineers, and project teams
- Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies
- Keep stores area clean, safe, and well organised
- Previous experience in stores, warehouse, or material control role
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills
- Basic computer skills (Excel / stock systems preferred)
- Understanding of health & safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
