Assistant Accountant – Modern Accounting Practice in Farnham, Surrey
Salary band £25,000 - £35,000 | Flexible Working
We are seeking an Assistant Accountant/Semi Senior Accountant to join a respected firm in Farnham. The role offers excellent training, a smart office environment with parking, and flexible working hours.
Responsibilities- Handle daily bookkeeping for clients, including bank reconciliations and VAT returns.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Produce annual statutory accounts for a range of SMEs, including sole traders, LLPs and limited companies.
- Respond to client queries and liaise with them accordingly.
- Work closely with HMRC on all compliance issues.
- Assist with corporate and personal tax returns.
Applicants should be an AAT, ACA or ACCA student. Applicants from other backgrounds are also welcome.
Experience working for an accounting firm is required.
