REED Business Support in Bath is delighted to be working in conjunction with a well known brand in their search for a Procurement & Compliance Admin Assistant. Full time hours, Monday to Friday This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills, who can manage purchasing, supplier relationships, quality checks, and compliance processes efficiently.

Day-to-day of the role:
Support procurement administration, including handling purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, processing invoices and managing delivery documentation. Maintain accurate compliance and quality control records, including certificates, specifications, and supplier documentation. Assist with quality control administration by recording checks, logging non-conformances, and supporting traceability documentation. Manage document control to ensure records are complete, current, and easily accessible. Liaise with suppliers, internal departments, and external contacts to resolve queries and obtain necessary information.

Support audit preparation by organising trackers, files, and supporting evidence. Monitor deadlines for renewals, supplier documents, compliance checks, quality records, and follow-up actions. Update spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems with accurate procurement, compliance and quality control information. Identify opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and efficiency across procurement, compliance and quality control administration. Ideally you will have:
Previous experience in administration, procurement, compliance, quality control, purchasing, stock control or supplier management. Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with documents, data and records. Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience in food and drink, manufacturing, warehousing, quality assurance, or FMCG environments is beneficial but not essential.
