Vehicle Technician

Autotech Recruit are currently working with a well-established and busy workshop in Farnham who are looking to add a Level 3 Vehicle Technician to their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician looking to join a supportive environment with strong earning potential and genuine long-term career prospects. Candidates from dealership, independent garage, autocentre and fast-fit backgrounds are all encouraged to apply.

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on a variety of vehicles while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Typical duties will include:

• Servicing and routine vehicle maintenance
• Mechanical repairs and fault diagnosis
• Vehicle inspections and health checks
• MOT testing (if qualified)
• Completing job cards and workshop documentation
• Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team

The workshop workload is predominantly service and repair based, with MOT work available for qualified testers.

To be considered, you will ideally have:

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
• Previous workshop experience within the automotive sector
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Desire to maximise earnings and develop your career
• MOT Tester licence (advantageous but not essential)

• £32,000 basic salary
• £40,000 OTE
