Your primary responsibility will be to provide a professional support to the Buying Team. Acting with discretion and confidentiality at all times. Working closely with the Purchasing Director, Leisure and Plant Buyers etc. to co-ordinate all Buying Administration functions from beginning to end.

Rota:
Full time, 40 hours

Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Maintain price files, internet and EPOS stock/price file
  • Maintain promotional configurations, ensuring correct application of promotions and Point of Sale
  • Raise orders on our EPOS system from confirmations sent from suppliers
  • Place orders on behalf of the Buyers when requested
  • Liaise with Managers and employees at the centres to support them in serving our customers
  • Liaise with external businesses and suppliers to access information answer questions
  • Maintain filing in an organised and timely manner
  • Organise internal and external meetings for Buyersand co-ordinate diaries and schedules where applicable
  • Make travel and hotel bookings on behalf of the buyers
  • Open new accounts and complete paperwork detail for Buyers and Accounts
  • Compile documents in accordance with Buyers requests
  • In the absence of the PD ensure that any urgent correspondence, calls or emails are passed to a Director
  • Deal with all incoming telephone calls and enquiries in a professional manner
  • Assist with other routine administration tasks as and when required by the Buying Team
  • Prepare confidential letters and reports on behalf of the Buyers
  • Prepare various documents using PowerPoint, Word and Excel on behalf of the Buying Team
To be successful in this role, we are looking for people who have:
  • Proven experience of working in an administration role, ideally within a retail environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Organisational skills, and are self-disciplined with a positive, collaborative attitude
  • Ability to deliver high level of accuracy and attention to detail
