We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant and Breakfast Club Assistant to join our Friendly team at South Farnham School (Infants) This is a rewarding dual-role position that combines supporting pupil's learning throughout the school day with helping to deliver a safe, welcoming and engaging Breakfast Club each morning. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's academic, social and emotional development while ensuring pupil's start their day positively and ready to learn.

Working Hours

  • Breakfast Club Assistant : 07:45am - 08:45am
  • Teaching Assistant: 08:50 am - 15:05pm
  • Supporting teaching and learning activities under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
  • Supporting pupil's social, emotional and behavioural development.
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and positive attitudes to learning.
  • Preparing and organising classroom resources.
  • Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive and simulating learning environment.
  • Supervising and supporting pupils during Breakfast Club.
  • Ensuring children enjoy a healthy, positive start to the school day.
  • Leading or facilitating simple games, activities and social opportunities during Breakfast Clubs.
  • Ensuring the wellbeing, safety and safeguarding of all pupils at all times.
  • Working effectively as part of the wider school team.
    Enjoys working with children and building positive relationships.
  • Is patient, caring and enthusiastic.
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Is reliable, organised and flexible.
  • Can promote positive behaviour and inclusion.
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality.
  • Has relevant experience working with children, and planning and leading teaching and learning activities.
