We have vacancies for evening Housekeeping Assistants to join our busy, friendly and supportive housekeeping team.
The In-Patient Unit vacancy is patient and family focused and consists of washing up patients' crockery, replenishing patient water jugs, serving teas to patients, replacing stock items and cleaning and emptying bins in the family room.
The Office & Clinical Cleans vacancy consists of cleaning the inpatient corridor floors, therapy rooms, toilets, staff canteen and emptying offices bins.

Our Housekeepers are an essential part of Phyllis Tuckwell, not only for housekeeping but for also maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere for our patients and their families. Whilst previous experience of similar work is preferred, this is not essential, and in-house training will be provided for the successful candidate.
Main duties of the jobTo monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness of the environment, understand specific professional ethical aspects of the job role and continually maintain and update knowledge. Ability to carry out the requirements of the job or a range of related jobs requiring light physical effort.
