Job Description & How to Apply Below
Working closely with Production, QC, Engineering and Supply Chain, you'll help maintain high standards on the factory floor and support right-first-time manufacturing.
You'll:
Carry out in-process, line and hygiene checks, and support batch start-ups, changeovers and product release.
Review production and quality records for accuracy, escalating issues where needed.
Monitor quality attributes and process controls across fermentation, transfer and bottling.
Investigate deviations, defects, complaints and non-conformances, contributing to root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support trials, process improvements, audits, traceability exercises and validation activities.
Maintain accurate documentation in line with GMP, food safety and data integrity requirements.
Help colleagues follow quality, hygiene and good manufacturing practice standards. About you
You'll have a degree, HND or equivalent experience in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality, Manufacturing or a related technical discipline.
You'll also bring:
Experience in a factory-based quality, technical or production support role within food, drink, FMCG, biotech or another regulated manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, hygiene, traceability and quality systems.
Experience with production records, quality checks, non-conformances and corrective actions.
Strong attention to detail and confidence engaging with teams on the factory floor.
Good investigation, data review and report-writing skills, with clear communication and strong organisation. Experience in fermentation, bottling, liquid processing, aseptic operations or probiotic manufacture would be an advantage. Internal audit, HACCP, food safety or root cause analysis training is also desirable.
This is a full-time, permanent position of 37.5 hours per week, based on site in the Farnham area. The working pattern may include early, late or weekend cover to support production schedules, trials and investigations. You'll need to be able to arrange your own transport to site.
If you have factory-based quality experience and are looking for a hands-on role where you can support high standards and continuous improvement, we'd like to hear from you
