About The Team

We would love for you to join our team as an Assistive (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). This role supports a county‑wide service that uses digitally enabled smart sensor technology in people’s homes to encourage residents to live more independently, identify emerging issues early, and provide support before crisis intervention. About

The Role
  • Support the County‑wide Assistive Technology service by implementing strategic objectives and integrating technologies into support and care planning across the ACS workforce.
  • Take day‑to‑day responsibility for monitoring the AT professional’s dashboard and associated preventative alerts, and make informed onward referral decisions.
  • Use a person‑centred approach to develop creative and personalised solutions that help people manage their health and live as independently as possible in their homes.
  • Provide learning and development training to aid the integration of AT in ACS practice, care planning, and offer support for coaching, mentoring, and solution‑focused advice on AT use.
  • Work closely with partners from other organisations to develop new and improved operational practices.
About You

Essential

  • Up‑to‑date knowledge and understanding of social care practices, systems, processes, and procedures relevant to the role, including professional, regulatory, statutory frameworks, and legislation for Adult Social Care.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to create resources using a range of applications (e.g., PowerPoint).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable

  • Experience with Excel and understanding of data and analysis.
  • Good record‑keeping skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Organisational skills.

This job role is Level 9.

Driving Required

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post (for those whose language is a signed language the provision of a sign language interpreter who speaks English to the necessary standard of fluency will be required).
