Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to lead and oversee daily warehouse operations within a dynamic logistics environment. This role is essential in ensuring efficient materials handling, accurate shipping and receiving, and optimal inventory management. As a key player in our supply chain operations, you will drive process improvements, uphold safety standards, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Duties
  • Supervise daily warehouse activities including materials handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory control to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Manage and coordinate a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the use of forklifts and other mechanical equipment to facilitate heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and enhance productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving procedures, verifying accuracy of orders and documentation.
  • Support logistics planning by analysing workflow data to optimize storage layouts and operational procedures.

Skills
  • Proven experience in warehouse management with strong knowledge of materials handling techniques.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Expertise in shipping & receiving processes, heavy lifting safety protocols, and inventory control.
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
