Job OverviewThe Admissions Representative plays a key role in managing and coordinating the admissions process, focusing on recruiting and enrolling students. Responsibilities include hosting campus tours, conducting interviews, facilitating enrollments, and assisting with new student orientations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct interviews and counseling sessions to assess prospective students' interest and eligibility.
- Guide prospective students in selecting programs that align with their goals.
- Coordinate and oversee campus tours and visits.
- Assist students in completing application and enrollment paperwork.
- Ensure timely follow-up with prospective students throughout the admissions process.
- Provide accurate and transparent information about programs, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee admissions file maintenance, perform file audits, and ensure compliance with enrollment policies and documentation standards.
- Plan and implement orientation programs for new students.
- Participate in off-campus recruitment events to promote the college.
- Contribute ideas for marketing, promotions, and advertisements to enhance student recruitment efforts.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively counsel and guide prospective students.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of admissions processes and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on active listening and collaboration.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of one (1) year of related experience (preferred).
