Brain & Body Fitness Coach - Help students ages 4-24 succeed and achieve their full potential
Brain Balance Achievement Center of Farragut seeks a dynamic, enthusiastic and caring Coach to lead and drive school‑aged children through various physical activities in our Sensory Motor room and academic activities. Our unique Brain Balance program deals directly with children who have struggles such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Processing Disorders, or other Behavior, Academic, & Social struggles. This is an ideal and rewarding position for those who enjoy working with children.
Responsibilities- Move 2 students through a specialized activity circuit in hour increments.
- Keep data on every child in each activity.
- Employ Brain Balance approved behavior management techniques.
- Be Computer/IPAD literate.
- Maintain an excellent customer service mindset.
- Stay on their feet and assist students with physical activities, coordination, and sensory activities, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Applicants need to be available between the hours of 12‑8, but not necessarily all of these hours. Additional hours available, as well as opportunities for growth within company after being fully trained.
Qualified Applicants- Experience working with children.
- Experience working with struggling or special needs children (a plus).
- Patient and loving.
- A team mindset.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Teaching or coaching experience (a plus).
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multi‑task.
- Backgrounds in exercise science, physical training, kinesiology (a plus).
