Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $40,000–$55,000 annually (negotiable based on experience)
Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Loan Administrator / Loan Operations Specialist to support our lending team by managing loan files from origination through post-closing. This role is critical to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely loan closings. The ideal candidate will have prior banking loan administration experience and a strong understanding of loan documentation, regulatory requirements, and internal bank policies.
Key Responsibilities- Review and verify loan application documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Confirm lender credit proposals have proper approvals and adhere to bank loan policy.
- Order and track third-party services including credit reports, flood determinations, appraisals, and title work.
- Communicate with borrowers to obtain missing information and provide loan status updates.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and internal bank lending regulations.
- Prepare loan closing documents and coordinate closings with title companies, lenders, and borrowers.
- Monitor loan pipeline and meet processing deadlines to support timely closings.
- Order inspections, process construction draws, and update inspection and construction reports.
- Maintain and update exception reports for financial documentation and loan exceptions.
- Proactively track exceptions to ensure timely resolution, proper escalation, and compliance documentation.
- Upload loans post-closing and prepare/run tickets for loan funding and fees.
- Required: Previous loan administration or loan operations experience within a bank or financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of loan documentation, lending regulations, and compliance standards.
- Experience coordinating with loan officers, borrowers, title companies, and third-party vendors.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with banking systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
