Your Impact as an Urgent Care Veterinary Assistant- Be a Critical Support in Urgent Situations: essential part of the medical team, directly assisting veterinarians and technicians with hands‑on patient care in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ensure a Seamless Workflow During a Crisis: anticipate needs and maintain composure to keep the clinic running efficiently during emergencies.
- Provide a Calming Presence for Clients: reassuring point of contact for worried pet owners, assisting with check‑ins, payments, and communications with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain High Standards Under Pressure: uphold our commitment to excellence by ensuring accurate record‑keeping and a clean, safe hospital environment at all times.
- At least 1 year of veterinary experience, with ER or high‑volume experience preferred.
- The ability to stay calm, composed, and efficient during a medical crisis.
- Confidence and skill in handling pets, with proficiency in basic laboratory, pharmacy, and nursing skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment.
- A flexible schedule, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
