Dravet Syndrome Osteoporosis Postural scoliosis (following corrective surgery) Developmental delays This role focuses on providing overnight care and clinical observation, supporting the client through a busy night-time routine and managing his complex health needs. About the Role As a Waking Night Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the client's safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night.
The successful candidate will be confident in monitoring and responding to clinical needs while also providing reassurance and emotional support when required. Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy is highly desirable , as our client can experience between 1-8 seizures per night . Previous experience supporting individuals with post-surgical needs, learning disabilities, lack of capacity, or behaviours of concern would also be advantageous.
While this is a clinical-focused position, applicants should also have the warmth, patience, and person-centred approach of an experienced Support Worker. We Are Looking For Someone Who Is:
Experienced in supporting individuals with epilepsy and complex care needs Calm, observant, and able to remain focused during overnight shifts Resilient and confident working in challenging situations Compassionate and supportive, with a genuine desire to improve someone's quality of life Experienced in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and behaviours of concern Confident in using positive behaviour support and de-escalation approaches Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality care Able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team If you are a resilient, caring professional with a passion for complex care and epilepsy support, we'd love to hear from you.
