Installation Technician

Essential Duties:

• Using jib crane, overhead crane, slings or manual lifting, move components into proper position.
• Using handheld plasma and acetylene torch.
• Lay out, position, and align truck body components using work orders.
• As a condition of employment, work all assigned days and shifts and overtime as required.
• Must wear all PPE required

Job Duties by Task:

• Installing front mounts on truck chassis for dump bodies
• Punching and drilling holes
• Operating pneumatic impact wrenches
• Routing hydraulic lines
• Filling hydraulic tank with fluid
• Fitting and installing aluminum skirts and panels
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Educational:
  High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience:
  
  No relevant experience required, training is provided.
• Preferred:
  Basic mechanical and tools (wrench, screwdriver, drills, etc.) knowledge.
• Skills:
  
  Ability to read and interpret a tape measure and read and comprehend work order specifications.
• Other:
  Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb onto chassis. Must be able to stand for 10 hours. Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
