• Troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller) using hand‑held device or laptop.
• Design and redesign PLC programs and software (operator panels, etc.).
• Format hard drives and install to the computers (Computer Setup) and PC application.
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for the generation, distribution or utilization of electrical energy in a manufacturing environment.
• Locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment working from blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications.
• Execute standard computations related to load requirements of wiring and/or electrical equipment.
• Maintain basic knowledge of serial port communication systems, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and process control instrumentation devices (thermocouples, pressure switches, etc.).
• Maintain basic knowledge of servomotors and drive units.
• Continuously review your respective area for ideas and thoughts that will drive productivity and reduce costs within the organization and be able to professionally speak to your solution for improvement.
• Plan and submit process improvements, execute the plan.
• Use a variety of electrician tools including measuring and testing instruments.
• Inform supervisor of operational status of equipment and notify of any problem areas.

• Mid‑senior level experience in maintenance or electrical support.
• Full‑time commitment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for PLCs and electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of VFDs, serial communication, servomotors and process instrumentation.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Experience with computer setup and PC application installation.
