A highly respected, woman-owned law firm known for its collaborative culture and commitment to excellence is seeking an experienced Legal Office Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and keep the firm running seamlessly. This is a direct-hire, salaried leadership role for a detail-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and excels at balancing people, processes, and priorities.
Hours & Pay- Schedule: Monday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM (40‑45 hours per week expected)
- Salary: $60,000‑$70,000+ annually, based on experience
- Employment Type: Direct Hire
- Oversee daily firm operations to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Manage all aspects of HR, payroll, and benefits administration
- Supervise administrative staff and law clerks
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff questions and internal coordination
- Manage the firm calendar, budget, and monthly reporting, and assist with bookkeeping as needed
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and offboard employees
- Train new hires on office systems, policies, and firm practices
- Manage and troubleshoot office systems, platforms, and third‑party service providers
- Review and approve timekeeping, submit payroll, track PTO, and manage benefits enrollment
- Coordinate quarterly performance reviews and staff meetings
- Manage inventory, building maintenance, and assist with IT and connectivity issues
- Support firm partners with administrative, marketing, and research needs
- Coordinate firm activities, events, and community involvement
- Manage social media planning and content pipeline
- Maintain compliance with certifications, renewals, and professional requirements
- Provide ongoing process improvement initiatives to support firm growth and KPIs
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a legal, medical, or professional office providing C-level administrative support
- Associate degree required or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Arkansas Notary Public or the ability to obtain one strongly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize competing demands
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Customer‑service‑focused mindset with strong ethical standards
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Quick Books Online, and Slack
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to research, analyze, and report data
- Ability to work collaboratively, take direction, and adapt to shifting priorities
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed
