Summary of

Job Duties

The Student IT Business Operations Assistant provides critical administrative and procurement assistance for the Business Operations Team in researching, gathering, and processing information used to assemble procurement/contracts such as accessibility and security documentation and software exemption requests. This position will also assist with UITS purchase requests and maintaining Box file receipts for transaction verifications. The Operations Assistant will also welcome visitors to the Office of the CIO when the Executive Assistant is away from their desk.

Responsible for office management, reports, documentation, special projects and other duties as assigned.

Regular reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in administrative support or office management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with software application programs, database management and accounting principles
