Location: Gulf Coast region – Louisiana and Mississippi. 10% field premium while on project sites.

Kiewit Foundations District seeks motivated Project Engineers in the Gulf Coast region. As a Project Engineer, you will construct and manage construction projects, coordinate with field and cost engineers, and serve as the main conduit of information between the construction manager and the team for cost, revenue, and cash flow.

• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of foundation construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and team members to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Perform scheduling of the project.
• Manage revenue, cost, and cash flow.
• Oversee temporary engineering and permanent design management.
• Ensure quality control.
• Handle project closeout and client relations.
• Assist in operations planning.
• Administer contracts and subcontracts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of construction or engineering experience.
• Experience with augered cast-in-place piles is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
• Experience managing engineers.
• Ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies in engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
• Highly motivated, with passion for excellence and initiative.

• Willingness to travel and relocate within the Gulf Coast region as needed.
