Production Coordinator – Five Star Painting®
As a Production Coordinator, you are a key team member in upholding our commitment to customer satisfaction and professionalism. You will coordinate and guide residential and commercial painting jobs through the scheduling and installation stages and serve as the focal point for communication among the various involved parties. SpecificResponsibilities
- Ensure assigned project(s) are kept on schedule and within budget while meeting clients’ needs and delivering a quality project.
- Plan, schedule and coordinate painting projects from “estimated” to “completed”.
- Generate schedules and plans of operation for painting projects in close consultation with homeowners, architects, contractors, remodelers, and other stakeholders.
- Schedule and award subcontracts, and change orders as needed.
- Manage painting subcontractor crews and keep proper ratios of crews to estimators to maintain proper flow of work.
- Identify potential issues and ensure timely decisions are made.
- Coordinate other trades such as drywall repair, carpentry, etc.
- Lead safety meetings and document as necessary.
- Ensure proper document control and record keeping.
- Facilitate weekly owner payroll reports.
- Communicate the scheduling preferences and needs of the customer to the Owner by making notes in CORE and/or scheduling the job through the Company Calendar.
- Guide project to completion to ensure proper close‑out.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in use of a personal computer and software programs such as MS Excel, MS Word, Google Mail/Calendar/Drive.
- Budget control and job cost forecasting experience and skills.
- Experience in residential repainting.
- Experience in and ability to prepare conceptual estimates, project estimates, and assist in the preparation of proposals.
- Background showing alignment to the company’s culture and Code of Values.
- Receptive to general direction, set priorities, and define methods for accomplishing assigned work.
- Willingly follow systems, accept and respond to suggestions and constructive criticism in an amicable manner.
- Operate a variety of office equipment, such as a personal computer, printer, mobile phone, and calculator.
- Maintain a proper appearance and vehicle as required by Five Star Painting policies.
- Energetic self‑starter possessing a “get it done” attitude.
- Perform other duties as required to ensure the success of Five Star Painting.
Compensation: $40,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year based on ability.
