Responsible for guiding the production of the architectural project documents as well as communicating and coordinating with clients and other team members of the architectural project. Provides effective communication of the design concepts to the Project Team, Architect Project Manager, Client, Consultants, and all departments of Crafton Tull.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assists the Architect Project Manager.
- Guides Intern Architects in their development and pursuit of licensure.
- Assists in the production of the contract documents.
- Assists in completing the required and established CTA QA/QC checklists, ensuring compliance with QA/QC procedures.
- Contributes to adherence to the Architecture QAQC Management Plan.
- Facilitates project coordination with the Architect Project Manager.
- Adjusts project tasks to ensure project financial success.
- Organizes project documents according to CTA production standards.
- Monitors the project, identifying items requiring decisions or further investigation.
- Responds to shop drawing submittals during construction.
- Reviews proposed construction details and coordinates with other design disciplines.
- Develops project specifications with the Architect Project Manager and coordinates with other disciplines.
- Monitors time billed to projects and notifies when limits are exceeded.
- Monitors resource needs and assists in selecting project team members.
- Advises on the need for additional resources.
- Participates in meetings with Architect Project Managers.
- Consults on document format, production processes, and resource allocation.
Supervises architectural project phases as assigned by the Architect Project Manager.

Experience:
A degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited university with three years of progressive experience or an equivalent combination ensuring licensure. - Licenses:
Must be licensed to practice in Arkansas; NCARB Certificate and LEED AP desired; annual continuing education required. - Language
Skills:
Ability to read, interpret, and present technical information; strong presentation and written communication abilities. - Mathematical
Skills:
Budgeting, cost estimates, and resource allocation calculations. - Reasoning Ability:
Problem solving and interpretation of instructions in varied formats. - Computer
Skills:
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro/Docs; knowledge of Adobe tools and Sketch Up is desirable. - Other
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license; travel up to 25% of the time; alignment with CTA core values.
The physical demands and work environment are described to enable performance of essential functions, with reasonable accommodations available as needed. Regular duties include sitting, handling, speaking, and vision-related requirements; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; travel in varying conditions; and a temperature-controlled office setting with moderate noise.
