Overview

Fayetteville, AR — The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks is seeking a full-time Physician for Compensation and Pension. The role supports Veterans’ health care services with a focus on disability examination and medical information for adjudication.

Candidates must possess an active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. state.

• Potential starting salary range: $200,000-$235,000 per year
• Permanent full-time position
• Daily schedule, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.– 4:00 p.m. or Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.– 4:30 p.m.
• Performs and records history and physical examinations and records data from clinic visits
• Enters progress notes in computerized medical records and completes workload documentation in a timely manner
• Provides timely follow-up on results, including completion of view alerts
• Completes Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQ) to provide medical information for C&P disability examinations, as requested by VBA
• Completes C&P disability examinations following the established VHA DMA C&P Disability examinations Procedure Manual
