Metric Geo is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a growing industrial and facility engineering firm in Fayetteville. This is a hands-on role contributing to complex multi-disciplinary projects in manufacturing, food processing, oil & gas, and energy sectors. You’ll design, review, and oversee electrical systems while collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines and client teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design and manage electrical systems for industrial facilities and client projects
- Prepare Issue-for-Construction (IFC) electrical drawings, schematics, and calculations
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Implement energy-efficient practices and optimize system performance
- Prepare project documentation, scopes of work, and specifications
- Collaborate with engineering teams, facility staff, and clients
- Assist in budget planning, cost tracking, and ensuring projects remain on budget
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- PE license preferred
- 6+ years of electrical design experience in industrial or manufacturing settings
- 4+ years of field experience overseeing installations and construction
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D and Revit 3D for electrical system design
