Job Summary:

The position of Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for a wide range of operational functions and is multi-faceted with critical time schedules. This position will work within a small team environment to assist with the maintenance of loan files. Completion of all assigned duties both accurately and proficiently are essential for this position.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations:

Exhibit a sense of urgency to provide the finest of customer service at all times and in all forms of verbal and written communications.

May be required to effectively handle any assigned duties including but not limited to the following:

Image/Upload/Edit new loans and renewals

Accurately prepare and process loan documentation for all in-house loans

Assign/Remove technical exceptions on new loans and renewals

Assist with all loan maintenance including payment/advance corrections, late fees, address changes, lender changes, etc Assist with various requests including VOM, payoff quotes, wires, close loan, address changes, lender changes, batch approvals, etc Assist customers and Team Members regarding loan inquiries and research

Setup, review and scan auto-transfers

Pull paid loan files and process collateral releasesE-Oscar reporting

Process and maintain Participations Maintain Loan Control/Loans in Process GL’sMaintain and Process escrow payments and analysis

Perform all other tasks requested as they relate to the Bank and its functions

All Team Members are accountable for compliance with all laws, regulations and adherence to established internal controls and procedures when performing their job duties. Each Team Member is expected to be familiar with the legal and regulatory requirements and internal controls affecting his or her job responsibilities. It is the affirmative duty of each Team Member to carry out these responsibilities at all times in a manner that complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and internal controls.

All Team Members shall be responsible for communicating upward, problems in operations, noncompliance with the code of conduct, or other policy violations or illegal actions. Team Members must participate in required training on pertinent compliance laws and regulations as required by Signature Bank of Arkansas.

All Team Members will be committed to maintaining a high level of compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering, USA PATRIOT Act and Financial Recordkeeping regulations recognizing that all three acts are important tools in federal efforts to combat organized crime, terrorism and drug trafficking.

Education / Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree required

Minimum of 1-2 years of banking experience required with previous loan operations experience preferred

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

Ability to effectively communicate courteously and professionally in English (both written and oral)
