This position is fully remote, with hybrid options available in Springfield, MO;
Nashua, NH; and Denver, CO.
We're looking for an IT Support Specialist who's motivated to help our team stay productive and supported. In this role, you'll assist Symetri employees with their devices, troubleshoot issues in Microsoft Windows, support Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 services, and help maintain our IT assets. If you enjoy solving problems, helping people, and keeping technology running smoothly, this could be a great fit.
POSITIONSUMMARY
The IT Support Specialist supports Symetri's internal end users and IT infrastructure. This includes supporting devices running Microsoft Windows, the Microsoft Office suite, and Microsoft 365 services. This position also helps maintain Symetri’s IT assets.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Install, configure, and support Microsoft Windows
- Provide desktop and cloud support for the Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft 365
- Troubleshoot and set up hardware
- Offer proactive, friendly support to end users
- Help manage IT assets
- Take on additional tasks as needed
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and brings a positive, customer-focused approach to their work.
- Solid understanding of client operating systems and applications
- Basic scripting knowledge and the ability to think through logical steps
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Ability to support end users and track work through an IT helpdesk system
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong research and troubleshooting abilities
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Interest in learning Symetri’s technology stack, including MS Teams, Entra , and Intune
- Strong attention to detail, collaboration skills, and a personable, approachable style
- A genuine enjoyment of helping people and building great working relationships
An associate degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
