Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer with 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-level platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Red Hat Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and Dev Ops practices, coupled with the ability to operate in a secure and dynamic environment. Your work will directly support mission-critical systems and infrastructure.
Education & Experience (Required):
- Experience:
6 to 10 years of experience in platform engineering, system administration, or related fields. - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
Technical
Skills:
- Proficiency in Red Hat Linux system administration.
- Strong expertise in Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in distributed environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Design, implement, and maintain platform solutions using Red Hat Linux.
- Containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker.
- Orchestrate and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes.
- Apply Dev Ops practices to streamline CI/CD pipelines and automate platform management processes.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and high availability of mission-critical systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure and platform requirements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to current systems.
