A respected, woman‑owned law firm with deep roots in Northwest Arkansas is seeking an experienced Banking and Finance Attorney to serve as a trusted advisor to banks and financial institutions. This is a direct‑hire opportunity for a seasoned attorney with strong experience in creditor rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and commercial lending, who is ready to handle sophisticated matters while building long‑term client relationships in a collaborative, high‑caliber legal environment.
Hours& Pay
- Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:30 AM‑5:30 PM (hybrid flexibility available)
- Salary: $80,000‑$90,000+ annually, depending on experience
- Employment Type: Direct Hire
- Advise banks and financial institutions on regulations, contracts, and financing matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate secured credit agreements, collateral documents, UCC filings, guarantees, and related loan documentation
- Provide legal guidance on commercial lending transactions, including cash flow, acquisition finance, and asset‑based lending
- Manage debt collection matters, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and probate proceedings
- Represent creditors in hearings, trials, creditor meetings, and related court proceedings
- Manage litigation and enforcement matters, including investigations and regulatory reviews
- Interpret and advise on existing and evolving banking and finance laws and regulations
- Support clients' strategic business goals through practical legal and regulatory advice
- Assist with additional business and civil litigation matters as needed
- Maintain organized matter management and provide weekly summaries of active and upcoming work
- Collaborate closely with law clerks, administrators, and firm leadership
- Uphold the firm's ethical standards, culture, and client‑focused approach
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Arkansas and in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of legal experience with a focus on creditor, foreclosure, and bankruptcy matters
- Strong background in commercial lending and financial institution representation
- Proven litigation experience with confidence in courtroom settings
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and matter management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure
- Professional demeanor with clients, peers, and staff
- Interest in developing and maintaining a banking‑focused book of business
- Willingness to engage in community and charitable activities
