Machine Attendant

Overview

Machine Attendant 7pm-7am at AAF Latinoamérica, Fayetteville, AR. Full-time role on 12-hour rotating shifts, seven days a week.

• Assist supervisor in monitoring production personnel, equipment and materials.
• Assist in communicating production priorities and procedures.
• Provide assistance on production lines in problem areas.
• Identify material required for the next run and ensure availability.
• Assist supervisor in identifying required personnel assignments and monitor for effectiveness.
• Identify equipment setup requirements and assist supervisor in communicating procedures.
• Monitor product quality to ensure acceptable quality throughout the process.
• Assist supervisor with training.
• Check equipment operation prior to scheduled runs and communicate needs to supervisor and maintenance.
• Assist line in preparation of product changeovers and ensure safety and efficiency across operations.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work area.

• Pull blankets and fibers as directed; ensure correct handling to avoid contact with the drum and furnace areas.
• Assist with miscellaneous tasks relating to line readiness and production efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED; minimum 2 years of recent manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer knowledge; excellent mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment.
• Minimum one (1) year forklift experience.
