Supply material and assistance to the Spinning Department in a timely manner to increase production efficiencies and overall productivity. Promote a safe and healthy work environment. Monitor and maintain equipment and materials to manufacture a good fiberglass product.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing supplies needed to run production.
• Training to understand furnace application.
• Performing duties following policies and procedures.
• Completing training on manufacturing instructions, LOTO, and JSA’s.
• Working 12-hour rotating shifts, 7 days a week.
• Moving and positioning glass hoppers for furnace operations.
• Loading materials into the glass elevator.
• Moving finished products within the warehouse.
• Assisting with product changeovers.
• Cleaning floors, walls, rails, and ceilings.

The work environment is moderate noise. Physical demands include frequently lifting/moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Vision and sensory abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as focus adjustment. The role requires talking, hearing, standing, walking, sitting, and some manual handling.
