Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift _

Job Skills/Requirements

Maintenance Technician will provide direct support to the manufacturing process through the upkeep and repair of production equipment. This position will assist with the modification of existing equipment and installation of new production equipment as well as upkeep of the manufacturing facility.

• Troubleshoot and repair automated and semi-automated production equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure equipment is in good running condition.
• Perform minor plant maintenance functions to upkeep the condition of the building.
• Perform basic equipment setup in preparation for production runs.
• Provide direct support to production to maximize plant efficiency.
• Troubleshooting equipment failure.
• Design and fabrication of equipment upgrades.
• Troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment including PLC controls, 3‑phase power and motor speed controls.
• Assist with the modification of existing equipment and installation of new production equipment.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment that includes at least two of the following: electrical, pneumatics, pipe fitting, metal working, plumbing, welding, basic machining, carpentry, painting, and/or heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
• Able to troubleshoot automated equipment.
• Motor skills and manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Basic mathematics.
• Use of measuring instruments, read electronic and mechanical gauges, and machine setup devices.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance as needed.
