Join Baylor Scott & White Health as a Pediatric ICU Nurse Manager (RN) and lead a compassionate, high-performing PICU team at McLane Children?s Hospital in Temple, TX. This leadership opportunity is ideal for experienced ICU or PICU nurses ready to make a meaningful impact in pediatric critical care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of pediatric ICU nurses and clinical staff
- Promote a collaborative, patient-centered care environment
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards
- Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Support staff education and professional development
- Oversee department operations including staffing and scheduling
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Active RN license in Texas
- BSN required
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (ICU/PICU leadership preferred)
- BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- National specialty certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 years)
- Experience managing staff in pediatric critical care or acute care settings

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact)
- Minimum of 3 years’ RN experience, preferably in ICU or PICU
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 30 days of hire)
