NWA Pediatrics is currently in search of a nurse for our Fayetteville campus. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. The position does require working two to three Saturday clinics (8:00am to 11:00am) per year.
Applicant must love working with an amazing pediatric population, exceptional pediatricians, and talented co-workers. Must be self‑motivated, have a pleasant attitude, and bring their 'A' game to our annual Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl.
The Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice.

Robinson and Terry Payton founded the Northwest Arkansas Pediatric Clinic in 1983 to provide comprehensive care for children from infancy to adolescence. Applications are reviewed by the Human Resources Department at the MANA Administrative Office and are shared with the clinic managers. Applications are kept in our database for managers to review for six (6) months.

Responsibilities- Assist physician; set up for procedures and exams; revising daily schedules; locating lab tests and other reports for the physician to review.
- Contact pharmacy to order new, refill and correct prescriptions; notify patients; document appropriately.
- Notify hospital when admitting patients and send physician's orders.
- Schedule diagnostic tests and procedures; notify patients of test results; schedule follow‑up appointments as appropriate.
- Review and administer vaccinations and medications as ordered by the physicians.
- Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow; return phone calls in a timely manner; answer urgent phone calls as needed.
- Graduation certificate from accredited LPN or RN school of nursing.
- Current State License.
- Current CPR Certification.
