• Oversee day-to-day patient care, supervise and direct nurse staff, and develop nursing programs.
• Ensure unit complies with federal and state regulatory standards and follows company policies.
• Receive physicians' orders and transmit them to other units as needed.
• Observe and assess residents’ physical conditions and behaviors during patient rounds, evaluate quality of care, and document nursing observations.

• Current RN license by state (required).
• At least two years nursing experience and one year supervisory experience.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric population preferred.
• Clerical ability to read reports and utilize data accurately.
• Skill in organizing, planning programs, and managing personnel to provide nursing services for residents.
• Ability to plan and direct the department and coordinate with other departments.
