Jeff Davis Dental & Orthodontics-Fayetteville is looking to add a stellar Part-Time Dental Assistant to the team! We have serviced our community by providing excellent dental care for over 30 years, and Dr. Williams is devoted to building relationships with our patients for lifelong care. This is an office where you can feel comfortable and confident with a team you can trust.

Our growing fast paced dental office is looking for a individual who prides themselves on excellent customer service. Applicant must be professional and able to multitask. Previous DA experience is required.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of professional chairside dental assisting experience
  • CPR certification
  • Knowledge of dental implants, extractions, impressions and scanning, infection control, instrument processing
  • Must approach care with a patient centered attitude and be a self-starter

Compensation:

  • Hourly pay based on experience, $18-24/hr

Position

Schedule:

  • Fri 8:30-2:00, 30 min lunch break

Job Duties:

  • Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory.
  • Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist.
  • Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures.
  • Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures.
  • Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist.
  • Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed.
  • Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory.
  • Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
  • Assist in front office procedures if time allows or need is determined by the Dentist or Office Manager.
  • Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment.
  • Take digital radiographs.
  • Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, referral, emergency medicine, implants, perio program and emergency treatment.
