Clinical Manager at Peachtree Detox

Position Summary

The Clinical Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing, developing, and ensuring the quality of clinical services in diverse levels of care.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clinical caseload, providing psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, individual, group, and family therapy, process groups, psycho educational groups, and crisis intervention services.
  • Complete clinical documentation promptly in line with state, insurance, and Joint Commission regulations.
  • Work closely with the treatment team including case managers, psychiatric nurse practitioners, the clinical director, and business development.
  • Provide support and clinical guidance to Primary Therapists.
  • Manage Group Facilitators, including monthly scheduling and providing support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement innovative and evidence‑based interventions.
  • Support the Administrator on Call (AOC) rotation.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of training programs to ensure ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with Primary Therapists, Case Managers, and leadership to manage crises.
  • Provide guidance and support during clinical emergencies across levels of care.
  • Partner with the Clinical Director utilizing data analysis tools to assess clinical program performance, participant outcomes, and key performance indicators in Residential, PHP, and IOP settings.
  • Make data‑informed decisions to optimize clinical operations across all programs.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement within clinical services across Residential, PHP, and IOP programs.
  • Encourage innovation and excellence in each level of care.
  • Attend staff training and meetings as required by the employer.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Working toward clinical licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, etc.).
  • Experience working with addictions and mental health diagnoses.
  • Ability to use a variety of counseling interventions including CBT, DBT, ACT, Family Systems, etc.
  • Understanding of an array of theories and models of addiction and mental illness.
  • Knowledge of philosophies, practices, and outcomes of different treatment models.
  • Understanding of relapse prevention through the continuum of care.
  • Understanding of dually diagnosed populations.
  • Competent in areas of gender‑specific issues, diverse cultures, and the ability to incorporate the needs of the client into treatment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize daily and weekly tasks appropriately.
  • Understanding of KIPU electronic medical record system is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.

Work Environment

This position is an in‑person/office work environment. There will be daily face‑to‑face interaction with staff and clients. The workday will vary but will often include sitting at a desk, working on a computer, meeting with clients, and completing paperwork.
