Data Center Technician; Backfills

Req for ATL
21 GPU Buildout Backfills Levels from L2, L3, L4 depending on needs/Openings.

Team will handle troubleshooting of large GPU deployments inside an enterprise DC environment.

Shifts:

7‑7 AM and PM for days and nights. Schedules: A Side:
Sunday–Tuesday, every other Wednesday. B Side:
Thursday–Saturday, every other Wednesday.

• Remove network cables as part of a datacenter decommission.
• Run, label, and stage power & networking cables.
• Perform DBD removal only (no scanning).
• Follow procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads.
• Prepare, stage, set up, and perform basic startups and shutdowns for hardware following written instructions, checklists, and guides.
• Conduct physical audits of datacenter assets.
• Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance.
• Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program.
• Help programmers and systems analysts test and debug new programs.
• Operate spreadsheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and produce reports.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• 5+ years of DC experience (lead or management experience for Lead Technician, 5+ years dedicated DC experience for L4 Technician, 3+ years DC experience for L3 Technician).
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem‑solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

Data center technician, data center, facilities technician, deployment, troubleshooting, Break/Fix.

Team must be willing to commute to the Fayetteville, GA site.

Intermediate Level.

This is a Contract position based out of Fayetteville, GA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $44.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
