The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients in the emergency department during nights. The staff nurse applies nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities, and ensuring quality nursing care.
Qualifications- Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program
- One (1) year of nursing experience in an emergency or critical care setting required
- Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS and ACLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
