  January 20, 2026
• Duration: 20 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts/week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage:
  Every other weekend required
• Floating:
  Within facility and RN scope of practice as needed
• Patient Ratio: 1:6 (adults and geriatrics)
• Charting System:
  Epic EMR
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570–$1610

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license (required at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of recent oncology nursing or medical-surgical RN experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) and chemotherapy administration certification preferred
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Experience in community hospital or trauma level I/II setting preferred
• Two supervisory references (manager or above) highly preferred
• Ability to work required holidays during assignment
• Must complete compliance and onboarding within required timelines

Oncology RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to oncology, hematology (including sickle cell), immunocompromised, transfusion-dependent, and general med-surg patients
• Administer chemotherapy (certification required)
• Perform central line/implanted port care, blood draws, and infusion management
• Monitor and manage chemotherapy infusions, cytotoxic spills, and neutropenic precautions
• Educate and support patients and families on treatment plans and care procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, etc.)
• Float to other nursing units within scope of practice as needed
• Document patient care using Epic EMR
