Registered Nurse (RN) – VITAS Healthcare

Compensation: $40–$42 per hour

As a home‑care registered nurse (RN), you will ensure hospice patients are comfortable, forge compassionate, and meaningful connections with the people in their lives. You will be a respected member of our team, both as a caregiver and as a hospice educator. You will be entrusted with the autonomy to make care decisions at the bedside, ensuring no moment is wasted in bringing comfort to your patients.

• Provide compassionate comfort care to hospice patients in their homes or skilled nursing facilities.
• Educate patients and families about the palliative and comfort‑focused nature of hospice care.
• Make bedside care decisions and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team of social workers, physicians, chaplains, and nurses.
• Conduct 4–6 patient visits each day and attend a weekly interdisciplinary team meeting at the local program office.

• Valid RN license.
• At least two years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or home‑care settings.
• Reliable transportation (personal vehicle).
• Demonstrated commitment, compassion, and a can‑do attitude.
