Job SummaryLead with flavor. Create with purpose. As Executive Chef, you will lead culinary operations with creativity and precision. You will design and execute menus, uphold safety standards, and mentor a team of culinary professionals. You will bring innovation and consistency to every plate while delivering operational excellence across diverse events and venues.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure high-quality food items are creatively prepared and presented in a cost-effective manner.
- Assist in all phases of planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation.
- Support management of cost controls and control expenditures for the account.
- Launch new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams.
- Supervise co-workers to ensure cleanliness, organization, and overall sanitation of the kitchen.
- Motivate, train, develop, and direct back‑of‑house employees to accomplish operational objectives.
- Lead menu development and execution for all events and outlets.
- Partner with front‑of‑house teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Oversee inventory control and vendor relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- B.S. Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology/Management, or related field; or A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts with additional specialized training and 3-5 years relevant experience.
- Mastery of a wide variety of kitchen positions and stations.
- Ability to taste and evaluate food quality.
- Prior experience in an elite sport environment preferred.
- Ability to think on feet and produce high-quality food on the fly.
- Knowledge of food cost management and product quality identification.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, email, and the internet.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
