The Retail Sales Associate assists Ollie's customers and helps to maintain the store's appearance. Retail Sales Associates are responsible for all aspects of customer service, running registers, merchandising, and store maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities- Greet and acknowledge every customer with Ollie's "Yes I Care, Yes I Can" approach to build long‑term loyalty.
- Accurately and efficiently manage cash register transactions.
- Be an Ollie's store and inventory expert, know weekly deals and the incredible value provided to customers.
- Assist with freight logistics and learn retail merchandising practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Willingness to train new associates who may not have six months of prior retail experience.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays regularly.
- Positive attitude and team player who wants to delight and serve customers.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
