OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Level 2 Cable Technician to join a growing team in the commercial low‑voltage industry. This role involves installing, terminating, and testing structured cabling systems with minimal supervision, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities- Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling systems.
- Perform cable routing, dressing, and labeling according to industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and project documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cabling issues independently.
- Assist with rack and patch panel installations.
- Ensure compliance with standards and company quality guidelines.
- 2+ years of experience in structured cabling installation.
- Proficiency in copper and fiber termination and testing.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Experience with commercial environments and large‑scale projects.
- Familiarity with cable certification tools.
This is a Contract position based out of Fayetteville, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
