Inventory and Asset Technician
Our client, a leading organization in data center operations, is seeking an Inventory and Asset Technician to join their team. As an Inventory and Asset Technician, you will be part of the Data Center Operations supporting inventory management and asset control. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Fayetteville, GA
Contract: 5 month contract
Hourly Rate: $19/hour
- Support data center operations by managing the movement, documentation, and accuracy of critical equipment and materials.
- Perform cycle audits, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and ensure precise physical tracking of assets.
- Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process failed hardware devices in compliance with SLAs.
- Maintain organized records of inbound and outbound deliveries and update inventory systems accordingly.
- Assist in the secure destruction of Data-Bearing Devices (DBDs) following all policies, SLAs, and safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hands‑on experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, retail, or related fields.
- Ability to meet security requirements, including background checks and eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Reliable home internet connection and a quiet environment for remote training.
- Commitment to a full‑time, 40‑hour workweek.
