Per Diem Anesthesiologist opportunity at our new Fayetteville ASC in Fayetteville, NC. NAPA is expanding with a new site in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The Fayetteville Ambulatory Surgery Center has provided excellent clinical care with a focus on safety, comfort and convenience for over 43 years. The center has 11 operating rooms with state-of-the-art technology and equipment for a variety of specialties and procedures.

• Fully accredited by Department of Health and Human Services and The Joint Commission.

• Ortho, General, GYN, ENT, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Vascular, Urology

Monday - Friday, 7am to 3pm. No nights, weekends or holidays!

• Team Highlights:
  Our anesthesiologists and CRNAs work in an anesthesia care team model. This model focuses on giving everyone a voice while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence.

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtain and/or verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor the patient's physiological condition
• Perform clinical interventions as needed

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician

Located along Cape Fear River, Fayetteville is an area with outdoor recreation, arts, history, and dining. It is near Fort Bragg and is close to Wrightsville Beach.
