This is a full-time on-site role for a High School Counselor located in Fayetteville, NC. The High School Counselor will provide academic advising, career counseling, and emotional support to high school students. The role involves assisting students with personal and academic challenges, coordinating with teachers and parents, assisting with college and career planning, and developing tailored support plans. The counselor will also help students set and achieve their academic and personal goals through structured guidance and resources.

• Expertise in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to provide guidance and emotional support to high school students
• Experience in Academic Advising and working directly with High School Students
• Background in Education, with strong knowledge of high school curricula and learning support mechanisms
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with students, parents, and teachers
• Master’s degree in School Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Possession of a valid state certification or licensure for school counseling
• Familiarity with college admissions processes and career readiness programs is highly desirable
• Proficiency in crisis intervention and conflict resolution preferred
