Hybrid Exceptional Children’s Case Teacher

Exempt

BS/BA degree from accredited institution. License in area of Special Education. Minimum of three to five years experience as an EC teacher (preferred) with SP2 continuing licensure. Specialized training in compliance, regulations, and special education law.

Building Principal and/or EC Leadership

To ensure compliance and maintain confidentiality of EC records at assigned school site(s).

• The ideal candidate for the EC Case Teacher position will demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, and professional skills. The candidate must be able to collaborate effectively with both educators and families while ensuring compliance with special education laws and procedures. Key qualifications and expectations include:
• Excellent organizational skills to manage caseloads, timelines, and documentation efficiently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic school environment
• Openness to coaching and feedback in order to grow and improve
