Intelligence Exploitation Analyst - SME

Work Arrangement

On-Site at Fort Liberty, NC with CONUS and OCONUS TDYs up to 120 days. Contractor required to be available for immediate recall (1+ hours) in case of Command Directives.

The Intelligence Exploitation Analyst SME is a highly skilled professional responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting intelligence data to support decision-making and strategic planning. They collaborate with other analysts and stakeholders to identify trends, patterns, and potential threats, contributing to the development of effective strategies and countermeasures.

• Provide analytical and planning support to screening, exploitation, and other HUMINT missions. Interface with intelligence organizations, IA, and DoD organizations to fully prepare teams, and prepare analytical products and assessments supporting targeting efforts, source development, and threat analysis.
• Support Intelligence Exploitation SMEs to provide analytical and planning support to screening, exploitation and other HUMINT missions.
• Assist the USSOCOM staff and subordinate or associated organizations to identify, develop prudent courses of action (COAs), recommend priorities, train members of the team, and employ technical knowledge for the long-term benefit to USSOCOM operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Superior proficiency, knowledge, understanding, and experience with current all-source analytical techniques, theory, methodologies, processes, and trends.
• Demonstrate superior proficiency and knowledge of the current suite of all-source intelligence tools.
• Experience preparing and delivering intelligence briefings at the Colonel (O-6) / GS-15 level or higher.
• Proficient in utilizing basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support Intelligence Exploitation analytical efforts and product development.
• Strong briefing skills and capability to effectively direct subordinate analysts in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments.
• Advanced working knowledge of screening, exploitation, and detainee operations and other HUMINT missions including methodologies and systems.
• Strong background and firsthand experience in Regional Analysis, Geo-Political Analysis, HUMINT Analysis, and Collection Management.
• Perform other duties as required.

• High School Diploma required.
• DOD, DoS, DHS, or equivalent training/course completion preferred.

• Minimum of eight (8) or more years of all-source intelligence analyst experience at the full performance level, with 5 or more years working for or with USSOCOM SOF or national level intelligence agencies, such as NSA, CIA, or DIA.
• At least three (3) years of experience and knowledge in intelligence support to special operations.
• 3 or more years of experience writing formal finished intelligence assessments (e.g., whitepapers, targeting packages, or other serialized finished intelligence products).
• In-depth knowledge of SOF and/or CT intelligence experience is highly desirable.

Medical able to deploy to foreign area advanced bases. Able to wear body armor, helmet and other PPE when required. Able to run, walk, crawl moderate distances.

• Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
